Black Rock Shooter - S01

On her first day of junior high, Mato Kuroi meets Yomi Takanashi, a quiet and reserved girl who catches her attention. Mato tries to befriend Yomi, but at first, her efforts are met with hesitation. The tension eases when Yomi notices a small blue bird charm on Mato's phone-a reference to the book "Li'l Birds At Play." Realizing they share a love for the same story, the two quickly grow close. Meanwhile, in another world, their parallel selves exist: Mato as Black Rock Shooter and Yomi as Dead Master. Unbeknownst to them, events in one reality ripple into the other, weaving their fates together in ways they don’t yet understand.
