After hitting a well-known curator for calling his calligraphy "textbook and lifeless," Handa Seishuu is sent to Gotō Island to cool off and rediscover his artistic passion. Having spent his whole life in the city, Handa struggles to adjust to rural living while getting to know the island’s eccentric residents during his stay.
