Aoashi - S01

In a small rural town, Ashito Aoi stands out as the star player of his junior high school football team. His unorthodox style and selfish play drive the team forward in a crucial high school tournament, but his hot temper gets the better of him-after lashing out violently during a match, he’s forced off the field. Without him, the team falls apart and is knocked out of the competition. Just when Ashito thinks his dreams are over, he catches the attention of a youth team coach, Tatsuya Fukuda, who sees something special in him. Fukuda offers him a chance to try out for a team in Tokyo. Now, surrounded by skilled players in an unfamiliar city, Ashito must push himself to the limit to prove he belongs-and maybe even turn his passion into a future.
