In rugby, there’s no single star player like an ace striker or cleanup batter-so who leads the team? The story starts at Kanagawa High School’s entrance ceremony, where Kenji Gion, a short but determined newcomer, joins the rugby club. He’s joined by his classmate Iwashimizu, who carries a troubled past; the kindhearted sub-captain Hachiouji; and the powerhouse captain Sekizan, a quiet leader with hidden depths. With such contrasting personalities and skills, the team must learn to unite and push their limits if they want to rise to the top.
