Adieu Galaxy Express 999
After the machine empire's home world Andromeda was destroyed, its forces continue to spread across the galaxy, turning Earth into a warzone. Tetsurou Hoshino, having returned from his journey on the Galaxy Express 999, joins the human resistance in their struggle for survival. When the 999 reappears on Earth, Tetsurou receives a cryptic recorded message from his old companion Maetel, urging him to board the train again. Battling his way to Megalopolis station, he barely makes it aboard before departure. But this journey is different-Maetel is missing, a foreboding "Ghost Train" has emerged, and no one knows the 999's final destination.
