Action Heroine Cheer Fruits - S01

Several years ago, local heroines-superheroes representing towns and performing stage shows to boost their hometown's reputation-were all the rage. The most famous of them, Kamidaio, is set to perform in the small town of Hinano, thrilling Mikan Kise's little sister, Yuzu. But when Mikan takes Yuzu to the show, they discover it’s been canceled. Heartbroken, Yuzu makes Mikan promise she’ll find a way for her to see it. Determined not to disappoint her, Mikan turns to her classmate An Akagi, a die-hard local heroine fan, for help. Mikan and An put together their own Kamidaio performance in handmade costumes. The kids in the audience adore it, even though it’s far from professional. The student council president, Misaki Shirogane-who comes from a political family and is determined to revive Hinano-films their show and posts it online to drum up interest. Impressed by their effort, she recruits Mikan and An to become the town’s official local heroines. As they work to polish their acts, they bring in a lively cast of helpers to make their shows even better.
