86 EIGHTY-SIX - S01

The vanishing of the Spearhead Squadron does nothing to dull the Republic of San Magnolia’s relentless propaganda. Vladilena Milizé remains "Handler One," commanding another squadron of the marginalized 86th faction in the unending war against the Legion. Meanwhile, on the Western Front, Shinei Nouzen and his squad are confined to a military base under the control of the Federal Republic of Giad, the reformed Giadian Empire. The new government offers the rescued Eighty-Six full citizenship and liberty. Staying under the care of President Ernst Zimmerman, they encounter his adopted daughter, Augusta Frederica Adel-Adler, the last Empress. Yet, despite the peace of this gentle society, Shinei and his comrades find their place on the battlefield. Soon, they rejoin the fight as part of the Federacy’s Nordlicht Squadron, with Augusta Frederica at their side. But as history loops back, they understand-no matter whose side they’re on, death and suffering on the front lines remain their only familiar solace.
