Yo-kai Watch Shadowside: The Return of the Oni King

Thirty years after the original "Youkai Watch" series, an eleven-year-old boy named Keita Amano once wielded a special wristwatch that allowed him to command Youkai. He befriended these spirits and accomplished many great things. But as he grew older, he lost the ability to see them. The watch itself, deemed too dangerous for the balance between humans and Youkai, was banished beyond time and space, fading into legend. Now, after many years, a new crisis emerges. A malicious Youkai virus called Onimaro spreads uncontrollably, infecting people with dark intentions and transforming them into Kaodeka Oni, wreaking havoc across the city. As disaster looms, only those chosen by a new Youkai Watch can rise to confront this threat-and perhaps save both humans and Youkai from annihilation.
