Witch Watch - S01

In ancient times, certain witches married their familiars after they took human form, creating a lineage of ogres. Morihito Otogi is one such ogre-though he looks fully human, he still possesses the extraordinary strength of his ancestors. Nico Wakatsuki, a young witch and Morihito’s childhood friend, was sent away to train in the Witches' Holy Land, forcing them to separate. Years later, just before Morihito starts high school, Nico returns with a single purpose: to make him her familiar. While most witches choose animals like cats or bats, Nico has her sights set on Morihito-both as a familiar and something more. Though Morihito seems unaware of her deeper feelings, the two end up living together, as both of his parents are away. At first hesitant, Morihito eventually embraces his new role, resolved to help Nico reintegrate into human society and shield her from an inevitable catastrophe.
