Warlords of Sigrdrifa - S01

Humanity teeters on the edge of extinction, pushed there by monstrous alien invaders known as the Pillars. In their darkest hour, a mysterious figure named Odin appears, granting people the power of "Valkyries"-warrior women who fight using retrofitted aircraft called Hero Wings. Claudia "Schwertleite" Bruford, Europe's top Valkyrie, is sent to Japan after their best Valkyrie falls in battle. But Claudia carries a grim reputation: she's the lone survivor of every mission she's flown, earning her the nickname "Grim Reaper." She expects the same cold rejection she's always faced-until she meets her new squad at the Tateyama Valkyrie Wing. To her surprise, her new teammates are a bunch of eccentric misfits who couldn’t care less about her ominous past. They’re determined to prove she’s more than just a curse.
