Visual Prison - S01

Vampires have lived for centuries under the rule of the Scarlet Moon. Each year, they hold the "Visual Prison," a visual kei competition where the vampire who performs the most beautiful song is granted immense power by the Scarlet Moon. The contest is dominated by two rival groups: ECLIPSE, the current champions who uphold tradition, and LOST EDEN, who believe power should belong to the strongest. Ange Yuki is a shy boy who lacks confidence in his singing. He moves to Harajuku in hopes of meeting the musician he idolizes, but during his search, he stumbles into a live performance battle between ECLIPSE and LOST EDEN. Mesmerized by their dazzling shows, he suddenly collapses, overwhelmed by an unfamiliar bloodlust. When he wakes up, he finds himself with Guiltia "Guil" Brion-the very musician he admires-who reveals that Ange is a dhampir, half-human and half-vampire. Though Ange now has the chance to compete in the Visual Prison, Guil refuses to join him. Soon after, Ange meets Robin Laffite, an English traveler captivated by his extraordinary voice. With the competition drawing near, Ange must quickly assemble a skilled team before time runs out.
