Violet Evergarden - S01

The Great War ended after four brutal years, leaving the divided continent of Telesis to slowly rebuild. Among those caught in the violence was Violet Evergarden, a girl raised solely to be a weapon of war. Severely wounded in a final battle, she was left with only the vague words of someone precious to her-words she couldn’t comprehend. After recovering, Violet starts anew at CH Postal Services, having drifted apart from the family meant to take her in. By chance, she encounters an "Auto Memory Doll," a scribe who turns emotions into written words. Deeply affected, Violet becomes one herself, embarking on a journey that changes the lives of those she writes for-and may finally help her understand herself.
