This special was shown at the Jump Super Anime Tour in 2009. In a world where the flavor and quality of food are everything, there are experts called "Bishoku-ya"-hunters who specialize in finding rare ingredients and exotic creatures. Toriko is one of these elite hunters, and his lifelong goal is to track down the world's most extraordinary foods to create the perfect meal. Known for his unmatched skills, he’s often hired by high-end restaurants and wealthy clients to locate rare delicacies. With superhuman abilities, Toriko uses his immense strength and deep knowledge of wildlife to capture dangerous, elusive, and prized beasts-all in pursuit of his ultimate dream: a meal made from the finest ingredients on Earth.
