Yuuichi Katagiri, a high school student, values his tight-knit group of friends: Yutori Kokorogi, Shiho Sawaragi, Makoto Shibe, and Tenji Mikasa. But when the money for their school trip goes missing-funds that Shiho and Makoto were responsible for collecting-the two start pulling away from the rest of the class. Not long after, Yuuichi and his friends are tricked into meeting up and knocked out by unknown attackers. They wake up trapped in a white room with a controversial figure named Manabu-kun, who explains that one of them has brought the group together to settle a personal debt of twenty million yen. The only way out is to play a series of psychological games designed to expose the truth about their friendship-and themselves. Cut off from the outside world and forced to rely on each other, the group must work together to survive the games. But as hidden emotions and troubled pasts come to light, their once-solid friendship begins to crack under the pressure, threatening to fall apart completely.
