Tokyo Ravens - S01
Onmyoudou magic was once a powerful tool wielded by Japan during World War II in an attempt to secure victory and strengthen the nation. But after the legendary onmyouji Yakou Tsuchimikado triggered the "Great Spiritual Disaster"-an event that still haunts Tokyo-Japan suffered a swift defeat. In response, the Onmyou Agency was formed to prevent further spiritual disasters and fend off the demons that now threaten the world. Over time, Onmyoudou has evolved into a modern, streamlined practice used in fields like medicine and technology. Yet not everyone can wield it-including Harutora, a distant relative of the Tsuchimikado family. Though he once promised to serve as a familiar to Natsume, the Tsuchimikado heir and Yakou’s believed reincarnation, Harutora lacks magical talent and opts for an ordinary life instead. But when a high-ranking Onmyou Agency official tries to repeat the catastrophic experiment that doomed Japan, Harutora resolves to honor his vow and stand with Natsume in battle.
