The Three Musketeers: Adventure of Aramis - S01

In 1625, young D'Artagnan leaves his home in Gascony for Paris, carrying only his father’s sword and a letter of introduction. With his grandparents’ encouragement, he hopes to meet Tréville, the captain of the King’s Musketeers and his late father’s old friend, dreaming of becoming a hero in the service of King Louis XIII. Paris overwhelms him with its sheer size, but he soon befriends a streetwise orphan named Jean. His fiery temper, however, gets him into trouble when he insults three of the Musketeers: Porthos, Aramis, and Athos. When the city guards interrupt their duel, the four men join forces to fight off Cardinal Richelieu’s soldiers, forging an instant bond. Now united, they set out to foil the Cardinal’s plot to spark a war between England and France, all while defending the honor of Queen Anne, Louis XIII’s wife. But their quest won’t be without sacrifice-what price will they pay for their loyalty?
