The Princess and the Pilot

The Levamme Empire and the Amatsukami Imperium have been locked in a brutal war for years. Amid the conflict, the prince of Levamme falls in love with Juana del Moral and promises to end the war within a year as part of his proposal to marry her. When the Amatsukami learn of this, they attack the del Moral estate, intent on killing Juana. Desperate to deliver the prince his bride, the San Maltilia Airforce hires a half-blood mercenary-a "bestado"-named Charles to secretly fly Juana to the Levamme capital. Though he takes the job, crossing the ocean alone into hostile lands turns out to be far more perilous than anyone expected.
