The Pet Girl of Sakurasou - S01

Suimei High's Sakura-sou dormitory has a reputation for hosting the school's most troublesome students. When Sorata Kanda, a fairly ordinary guy, gets moved there, his main priority is finding a way out of this chaotic place. Stuck for now, he has no choice but to adjust to life with his unusual roommates-Misaki Kamiigusa, the energetic animator; Jin Mitaka, the smooth-talking writer; and Ryuunosuke Akasaka, the antisocial tech genius. Amid the madness, Sorata finds some relief in his friendship with Nanami Aoyama, an aspiring voice actress who seems like the only normal one around. Things take a turn when Mashiro Shiina, a foreign exchange student, arrives at Sakura-sou. Sorata is immediately struck by her beauty, but Mashiro is far from ordinary-she's a gifted artist with a global reputation, yet she struggles with basic everyday tasks. When Sorata is tasked with looking after her, the two gradually grow closer, and his plans to escape the dorm start to fade. Despite their quirks, everyone at Sakura-sou excels in their own way, making Sorata painfully aware of his own lack of talent. Surrounded by such brilliance, he pushes himself to measure up to their abilities. "Sakura-sou no Pet na Kanojo" follows the ups and downs of this eccentric group, telling a heartfelt story about growing up, friendship, love, and ambition-all seen through the eyes of an average guy living among the extraordinary.
