The Mysterious Cities of Gold - S01
In 1532, twelve-year-old Esteban is an orphan from Barcelona with the strange ability to command the sun to appear, earning him the name "Child of the Sun." After his adoptive father dies, Esteban discovers he was rescued as a baby from a sinking ship at sea. The mysterious medallion he has always worn points to a location in the New World-possibly tied to the legendary Cities of Gold. Determined to uncover his origins and find his parents, Esteban leaves Spain. Along the way, he meets Zia, an Inca girl taken from her people years earlier, who wears an identical medallion. They are later joined by Tao, a young boy from the Galapagos and the last descendant of the Heva Empire, rumored to have constructed the Cities of Gold. Guided by Coyolite, the shining star on their medallions, the three children journey through the uncharted New World, hoping the path to the Cities of Gold will also lead them to their missing families.
