The Girl in Twilight - S01

The urban legend of the 4:44 ritual claims that by tuning a radio to specific frequencies in front of the Akeyuki Sacred Tree at exactly 4:44, people can be sent to another dimension. When Asuka Tsuchimiya and her friends-Nana Nanase, Mia Silverstone, Yuu Tounaka, and Chloe Morisu-decide to try the ritual as part of their Crystal Radio Research Club activities, they’re stunned when it actually works. The five find themselves in a parallel world, called a fragment, where they encounter a strange but familiar girl: a version of Asuka from this world. Nicknamed Seriouska for her no-nonsense attitude and combat skills, she warns them of a looming threat-the Twilight, a force that erases possibilities from parallel worlds. To stop the Twilight’s spread, Seriouska is determined to kill its creator, the Twilight King. As the girls search for him, they also grapple with understanding their true selves. But the key to defeating the Twilight might be nearer than they realize.
