The Gentle Crackdown II - S01

The world of "Tenshi no Tamago" is bleak and surreal, stripped of ordinary life. Strange, unsettling sights fill it-floating orbs holding goddess statues, massive unmanned tanks, fishermen chasing shadows of fish that aren’t there, and caves lined only with glass vessels of water. In this crumbling place, a young girl carries a large egg, scavenging for food and water. She meets a mysterious man carrying a cross, who grows curious about her and the egg she protects. Together, they wander the ruined landscape, asking each other questions about faith, the world’s meaning, and where their lives began.
