The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch - S01
でこぼこ魔女の親子事情 , The Family Circumstances of the Mismatched Witches
One day, while wandering through the forest, a witch named Alyssa stumbles upon a bush radiating a strange magical glow. Inside, she finds a baby-not a witch, but with powers far beyond any ordinary human. Deciding to take her in, Alyssa names the child Viola and raises her as her own. Sixteen years later, Viola has grown into a tall young woman, now towering over her eternally youthful mother. Her mature appearance often leads others to mistake their ages, but Alyssa cherishes her daughter all the same-even if Viola has a clingy side and scares off anyone she thinks might steal her mother’s affection. Though Viola doesn’t know her origins, she’s content with Alyssa and the many friends who helped raise her. With Alyssa’s guidance, she’ll learn to harness her magic and become someone her adoptive mother can be proud of.
