The Eccentric Family - S02

After discovering the truth about their father’s death, the four Shimogamo brothers settle back into their lives, each striving to honor his legacy in their own way. The eldest, Yaichirou, hopes to become the next Trick Magister and leader of the tanuki society, starting by reviving the beloved shogi tournament. Yajirou works to regain his lost shapeshifting abilities, while young Yashirou happily continues his duties at the family factory. Yasaburou, the third son, embraces his inherited "fool’s blood," choosing a life of freedom and mischief-whether hunting the elusive tsuchinoko or stirring up trouble wherever he goes. But trouble grows when Nidaime, the estranged son of their tengu mentor Professor Akadama, returns with a bitter grudge against both his father and his father’s apprentice, Benten. As tensions rise, Yasaburou finds his loyalties tested. Using his clever tanuki instincts, he must navigate the brewing conflict before it shatters the fragile peace between humans, tengu, and tanuki-and unleashes chaos for them all.
