The Dragon Dentist - S01

Two neighboring countries are locked in a brutal war, but one side holds a powerful advantage-an ancient dragon bound by an oath to defend the nation. Though these mighty creatures could crush entire battlefields, they are crippled by tooth decay. To counter this weakness, a specialized unit known as the dragon dentists is tasked with maintaining the dragon's teeth. Nonoko Kishii was the sole survivor of a recent recruitment drive for new dentists. To join their ranks, candidates must witness their own future deaths and accept them without resistance. Armed with the knowledge of how they will die, the dragon dentists dedicate themselves to their duty. But their routine is disrupted when Bernard "Bel" Octavius-a young enemy officer betrayed and killed by his own men-is mysteriously revived by the dragon's teeth and joins them without undergoing the test. His arrival is seen as a sign of impending catastrophe, yet he is assigned to Nonoko as her trainee. As they work together, Bel must grapple with the dragon dentists' unwavering acceptance of fate-and decide whether he can stand beside them when the looming disaster arrives.
