The Daichis Earth's Defense Family - S01

The Daichi family is on the verge of falling apart. Seiko, the mother, is unhappy and obsessed with money, and she has handed divorce papers to her meek, otaku husband, Mamoru. Their daughter, Nozomi, who has always shouldered the burden of household chores, feels hurt as everyone takes advantage of her. Meanwhile, the foul-mouthed youngest son, Dai, can only watch helplessly as the family crumbles. But when the Galaxy Federation enlists the Daichis to fight alien threats endangering Earth, they get a chance to save the world-and possibly themselves.
