Sweet Blue Flowers - S01

Fumi Manjoume, a shy and quiet girl, was once close friends with the outgoing and kind Akira Okudaira in elementary school-until Fumi moved away. Years later, Fumi returns to her hometown after enrolling at Matsuoka Girls’ High School, only to reunite with Akira, who now attends Fujigatani Girls’ Academy. Though they meet again, their friendship isn’t what it used to be. At school, Fumi catches the attention of Yasuko Sugimoto, a popular upperclassman who treats her with unusual favoritism. Used to relying on Akira, Fumi now faces the challenge of figuring out who she is on her own. Yet Akira hasn’t given up on rebuilding their old bond. As high school tests their friendship, the two must navigate growing up before the distance between them grows too wide.
