Stand My Heroes: Piece of Truth - S01

Drugs have become a major source of conflict in Japan, with drug-related crime rising at an alarming rate. Struggling to contain the chaos, the police department formed a specialized unit called STAND, made up of uniquely skilled experts better equipped to tackle the crisis. Rei Izumi, a newcomer to the narcotics division, is tasked with recruiting potential members for STAND. While she was chosen for her strong sense of justice and dedication to police work, she also has a rare advantage-a natural immunity to most drugs. As Rei begins her search for candidates, she soon realizes that convincing them to join won’t be easy. Each person she approaches has their own beliefs, doubts, and reasons for hesitating, and many question her ability as an officer. The clashes with these strong-willed individuals make her job unpredictable and challenging. But recruiting STAND members isn’t her only problem-navigating the dangerous, deceptive world of drugs proves far more perilous than she anticipated.
