Spriggan

Long before humans existed, an advanced alien civilization thrived on Earth. Careless with their immense power, they ultimately brought about their own destruction. Before vanishing, they left behind unbreakable tablets warning future civilizations to destroy any remnants of their dangerous technology. In the present day, the ARCAM Corporation and its elite paramilitary force-the Spriggans-work to secure these relics and stop rogue groups from using them. When ARCAM uncovers what may be Noah’s Ark in the Ararat Mountains, Spriggan Yuu Ominae is sent to investigate. But the site is attacked by the US Machine Corps, a radical branch of the Department of Defense under Colonel MacDougall. Acting on Pentagon orders, MacDougall aims to capture ARCAM’s lead scientist and take control of the artifact. Partnered with fellow Spriggan Jean Jacquemondo, Yuu must stop MacDougall and his elite soldiers before they reach the Ark-or risk catastrophe.
