Slayers - S01

For almost a thousand years, a magical barrier created by demons has kept people confined, cutting them off from the outside world. With the barrier now shattered, several kingdoms form a peace delegation to explore the newly accessible lands and make contact with those who live beyond. At the same time, the young sorceress Lina Inverse receives a message from a mysterious woman named Filia ul Copt. When they meet, Filia proposes a job for Lina and her companions, having heard of their past exploits. However, before entrusting them with the mission-one that will take them into the unknown-Filia tests their strength by setting a dragon loose in the city. After overcoming the challenge, Lina and her friends embark on their journey to the uncharted lands, where adventure awaits-along with a troubling prophecy.
