SHIROBAKO

At a school in northeastern Japan, five friends in the animation club-Aoi, Ema, Shizuka, Misa, and Midori-make a promise over donuts to finish their new anime, "Shinbutsu Konkou SHICHIFUKUJIN." From that moment on, they pour all their time into creating it. They experience the wonder of turning rough sketches into full animation and the clumsy moments during voice recording. Six months later, their work is complete, debuting at the school’s cultural fair. Even after graduation, they stay true to their passion for animation and, over donuts once more, vow to make another anime together someday.
