Shinobi no Ittoki - S01

Ittoki Sakuraba doesn’t get why his mother, uncle, and childhood friend Kousetsu are so obsessed with his safety. Kousetsu shadows him constantly, ignoring his privacy, as if protecting him is the only thing that matters. The reason for this overbearing surveillance becomes clear when Satomi Tsubaki, a cute second-year student at his school, asks him out. At first, the date seems harmless-until Ittoki visits her home and discovers her real plan: she’s there to kill him, and she isn’t acting alone. Just as danger strikes, his uncle and Kousetsu swoop in to save him, dressed in full ninja gear. Once safe, Ittoki’s mother explains the truth: he’s the 19th heir of the Iga, a noble ninja clan, and the rival Koga clan wants him dead. To survive, he must train at Japan’s last remaining ninja academy-the Kokuten Ninja Academy.
