Shigofumi: Letters from the Departed - S01

Some words are too painful or difficult to say in life-but after death, they can be delivered as "shigofumi," letters sent from the dead to the living. When someone dies with powerful emotions-love, longing, or even hatred-they can create a shigofumi. Fumika, a quiet and enigmatic girl, is tasked with delivering these messages. Accompanied by her talking staff, Kanaka, she makes sure each letter reaches its recipient, no matter how reluctant they may be to read it. Through her deliveries, Fumika glimpses the sorrows and hidden truths of both the living and the dead. Yet her own past remains a mystery. Who was she before she became a messenger of the dead?
