Seven Cities Story: Arctic Front

In 2099, Earth tilts off its axis and starts rotating at a 90-degree angle compared to its position in the 20th century. Three years of devastating natural disasters follow, wiping out nearly all of Earth's ten billion people. Only two million colonists on the moon survive. Some of them return to rebuild civilization in seven new cities, but the remaining lunar colonists grow wary of their former neighbors. Fearing a potential threat, they deploy a ring of defensive satellites to keep the resettled population confined to Earth.
