Selection Project - S01

Suzune Miyama has spent much of her childhood confined to bed due to a fragile heart, but she never let go of her dream to become an idol. Her chance arrives with the seventh Selection Project-a grueling competition famous for launching the career of idol legend Akari Amasawa. Nervous yet hopeful, Suzune auditions in the preliminary round. Her singing impresses the judges and contestants alike, but her anxiety gets the better of her, causing her to freeze mid-performance. She recovers swiftly, but the mistake costs her the victory, resulting in her elimination. Or so she thinks-until Seira Kurusu, the girl who won instead, declares she will withdraw. Seira believes Suzune is the more deserving singer and insists she take the spot. Stunned by the gesture, Suzune vows to reunite with Seira as rivals at the top of the idol world. With newfound resolve, she steels herself for the trials to come.
