Scar on the Praeter - S01

The Akatsuki Special Ward is under attack by outside forces, leaving its people trapped in a lawless warzone of greed and violence. Amid the chaos, the Scard-vigilantes marked by sacred tattoos that grant them supernatural abilities-fight back. Among them is Eiji Arashiba, the ward's protector and a hero to its people. During a clash with the criminal group Dusk, Eiji fights alongside a newcomer, Yamato Kai. When a sniper targets Eiji, Yamato throws himself in the bullet’s path-but the shot still hits Eiji’s tattoo. To save Yamato’s life, Eiji transfers the tattoo’s power to him, passing on the duty of defending Akatsuki. Now, with the ward crumbling under endless conflict, Yamato must learn to wield his new abilities. Can he rise to become Akatsuki’s next hero, or will the weight of his role prove too much to bear?
