SANDA

In a near-future Japan where birthrates are dangerously low, children are both cherished and closely watched. Santa Claus has been outlawed as a threat to society. On a snowy December 25th, Kazushige Sanda-a middle-schooler and descendant of Santa-is confronted by his classmate Fuyumura, who demands he help find her missing friend, Ono. "Santa, please find my friend," she pleads. Realizing the need to shield children from the control of adults, Sanda resolves to embrace his heritage and fight back as Santa.
