Haruka Takayama and Yuu Sonoda have been close friends since middle school, and they eagerly plan to attend Misato West High together. But even though they end up in the same class, they’re seated on opposite sides of the room-a frustrating stroke of bad luck. Adding to their troubles, the school is set to close in three years, meaning they’re part of the final freshman class. Despite these setbacks, Haruka is determined to stay by Yuu’s side, hoping to make as many good memories as possible before their time runs out. However, Haruka grows uneasy as Yuu’s relaxed charm draws the attention of their female classmates. Sensing her friend’s insecurity, Yuu surprises Haruka with a tender kiss in an empty classroom. The moment deepens their bond as "special friends," uncovering new layers to their relationship-but it also brings fresh complications.
