SABIKUI BISCO - S02

Japan lies in ruins after a cataclysmic disaster, reduced to an endless wasteland of sand. A mysterious rusting disease plagues the few survivors. The government blames the devastation on mushroom spores spread by Bisco Akaboshi, whom they call the "Man-Eating Mushroom." But Bisco knows the truth-he’s actually a "Mushroom Protector," searching for the mythical "Sabikui" mushroom, rumored to cure the rust disease. With his massive crab companion Akutagawa and the gentle doctor Milo Nekoyanagi-who seeks a treatment for his infected sister-Bisco presses on. Even as the people shun him, he refuses to abandon his mission to heal the decaying world.
