Rurouni Kenshin - S01
When humanity’s cruelty outweighs its fear of dying, those who seek to live decently have little chance. Under a full moon, a boy named Shinta watches the bandits who enslaved him meet their end, and the man who saves him gives him a new name: Kenshin Himura. Though his gentle nature seems ill-suited for the path ahead, Kenshin is fated to become a swordsman, driven by an unshakable will to shield the innocent. "Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan - Tsuioku-hen" explores the early years of the man who would one day be feared as "Hitokiri Battousai," long before he vowed never to kill or gained infamy as an assassin. Torn between justice and darkness, young Kenshin’s choices will shape the future of a nation.
