Run with the Wind

Kakeru, once a star high school runner, is caught stealing food and gets chased down. He's rescued by Haiji, a university student and fellow runner. Haiji convinces Kakeru to move into the rundown "Chikuseisou" apartment, where he’s gathering a team of residents to compete in the Hakone Ekiden, a famous university marathon. But Kakeru quickly realizes that aside from Haiji and himself, none of the others have any running experience.
