Prétear - S01

After her father remarries, 16-year-old Himeno Awayuki moves into a grand mansion with a stunning garden-a dream home for any girl her age. But her new stepfamily isn’t exactly welcoming. Her stepmother is always preoccupied with her father, her younger stepsister Mawata acts like she doesn’t exist, and her other stepsister, Mayune, who’s the same age, constantly plays mean pranks on her. Himeno doesn’t have time to wallow in loneliness, though-her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets the Leafe Knights, a group of seven magical boys. They ask her to become a magical princess called the "Prétear," granting her the ability to borrow their powers. While she accepts the role, she struggles with self-doubt, unsure if she’s strong enough to protect the world and its life-giving energy, the Leafe. Now, Himeno must navigate her strained family relationships while also facing a dangerous enemy: the Princess of Disaster. Can she find happiness at home and save the world?
