Pokémon Origins - S01

Pokémon are incredible creatures with countless shapes, abilities, and personalities. Dr. Yukinari Ookido has spent his life researching these beings, which can be caught, trained, traded, and battled. But he can only do so much from his lab, so he gives two boys their own Pokémon and a digital encyclopedia to record their findings. One, Green, is bold, competitive, and a little cocky-he’s also Ookido’s nephew. The other, Red, is just as eager but more innocent and curious. "Pokémon: The Origin" follows Red as he travels through Kanto, filling his Pokédex by encountering every Pokémon he can. Along the way, he learns there’s more to his journey than he first imagined. To prove himself, Red must battle Gym Leaders-strong trainers who stand between him and the Pokémon League. Only by defeating them and the Elite Four can he become Champion. But becoming Champion isn’t his only challenge. Some trainers, like the ruthless Team Rocket, use Pokémon for evil. If Red can overcome them, outmatch rival trainers like Green, and survive the wilds of Kanto, he might achieve his dream-and help Dr. Ookido’s research in the process.
