Plunderer - S01

In the world of Alcia, people’s lives are ruled by "Counts"-numbers etched onto their bodies that represent some aspect of their existence. These numbers dictate social standing and power. If a Count ever hits zero, the person is cast into the Abyss, a fate said to be worse than death. Hina, a traveler whose Count tracks the distance she’s walked, saw her mother pulled into the Abyss. Now, driven by her mother’s dying wish, she sets out to find the legendary Aces-heroes from a war three centuries ago, each marked by a white star beside their Count. During her journey, she meets Licht Bach, a masked man with a negative Count, and Nana, a tavern owner. While relaxing with them, Hina is tricked into fighting a soldier. Despite his ominous Count, Licht saves her and reveals his hidden mark: a white-starred Count, proving he is one of the fabled Aces. "Plunderer" follows Hina and others as they uncover the secrets of Alcia, the Abyss, and the true nature of the Aces.
