Phantom of the Idol - S01

Kazuki Yoshino and Yuuya Niyodo are the two members of the idol duo ZINGS. Kazuki pours his heart into every performance, but Yuuya treats the job as nothing more than a paycheck. His indifferent attitude toward fans and lack of effort push his manager to issue a warning: if he doesn’t change, he’ll be fired. One day, Yuuya meets Asahi Mogami backstage-an idol in a vibrant costume who died a year ago. Even as a ghost, Asahi longs to perform for fans again. When she realizes Yuuya doesn’t share her passion for the idol life, she becomes furious and demands he let her take over. To his shock, Yuuya soon discovers Asahi has possessed him, using his body to perform in ways he never could. At first, Yuuya sees this as a shortcut to an easy career. But Asahi has a different goal: she wants him to rediscover the ambition she once had. Together, she pushes him toward becoming the greatest idol in the world. The question is, can someone as lazy and money-driven as Yuuya ever truly care?
