Penguindrum - S01

The Takakura family knows destiny as a relentless wheel, turning toward them with moments of happiness and heartbreak before moving on to the next person. After losing their parents, twins Kanba and Shouma live with their younger sister, Himari, whose fragile health is fading fast. When Himari gets a brief reprieve from the hospital, her brothers take her to the aquarium to celebrate. But their joy is cut short when she collapses, seemingly sealing their tragic fate-until a mysterious penguin hat from the gift shop revives her. This miracle, however, comes with a price: something now dwells inside Himari, demanding the brothers find the elusive "Penguin Drum" to keep her alive. Their search pulls them into a tangled web of fate, forcing them to confront their own hidden past and the lives of others chasing the same prize-each desperate to claim the destiny they believe is theirs.
