OVERTAKE! - S01

Freelance photographer Kouya Madoka lost everything after a photo he published led to relentless online harassment-his wife Saeko Yukihira, his confidence, and his willingness to photograph people. Years later, a new job pulls him into the thrilling world of Formula 4 (F4),where the raw intensity of amateur open-wheel racing reignites his passion for the camera. When Haruka Asahina of Komaki Motors breaks down in tears on the track, Madoka captures the moment. The image drives him to an impulsive choice: he’ll sponsor both Haruka and the struggling Komaki team. But the crushing expenses of racing force him to rethink his approach, pushing him to find creative ways to support the cash-strapped F4 squad. Despite the odds, Madoka’s unwavering belief in Haruka could be the key to launching the young driver toward greatness.
