Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion

Shinji Ikari is emotionally numb after losing someone close to him. With his son unable to pilot the humanoid mecha Evangelion Unit-01 due to his shattered mental state, Gendou Ikari's organization, NERV, is in a desperate race against the shadowy group SEELE. Both have conflicting end goals: SEELE wants to merge their souls into an Evangelion to create a godlike entity, while Gendou seeks to merge all of humanity into a single primordial existence so he can reunite with his late wife, Yui. SEELE launches a brutal assault on NERV headquarters, slaughtering scientists and security staff. Asuka Langley Souryuu fights back in Evangelion Unit-02, making a final stand against SEELE's most powerful weapons. Meanwhile, Shinji, still lost in despair, hides deep inside NERV's facility. With the world on the brink, Captain Misato Katsuragi searches for the troubled teenager as everything collapses around them.
