Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth

In 2015, over ten years have passed since the disaster called Second Impact devastated the world. As humanity struggles to rebuild, a handful of people have uncovered the existence of the Angels-massive, hostile beings determined to bring about the Third Impact and erase what remains of mankind. Shinji Ikari, a teenage boy estranged from his father Gendou since his mother's death, is summoned to Tokyo-3. Hoping for reconciliation, Shinji instead learns he was called for one purpose: to pilot a giant weapon known as Evangelion Unit-01 in the fight against the Angels. Thrown into a relentless battle against these monstrous foes, Shinji soon realizes he is part of a larger scheme that may decide the fate of all humanity.
