Long before superheroes existed, legends walked the earth. One such legend tells of Shaka Nyorai, whose courage and wisdom once saved humanity for all time. But "forever" does not last-Mara, the embodiment of human desires, has struck a dark alliance with the devil to unleash suffering and vengeance upon the world once more. To stand against Mara’s merciless assault, the divine beings Taishakuten and Bonten must unite with the Thirteen Buddhas.
