Mushi-Uta - S01

The story of "Mushi-uta" is set in the near future. Ten years before the events begin, mysterious insect-like beings called "Mushi" started appearing. These creatures grant supernatural abilities in exchange for feeding on people’s dreams and thoughts. In the first episode, the protagonist, Daisuke "Kakkou" Kusuriya, meets a girl named Shiika Anmoto, and the two gradually grow close. What Kakkou doesn’t know is that Shiika escaped from a hidden prison called GARDEN, where those infected by Mushi-known as Mushitsuki-are imprisoned. GARDEN’s elite military unit, the Special Environmental Conservation Executive Office, sends its top assassin to capture Shiika. But they face opposition from the Mushibane resistance group, led by the enigmatic "Ladybird."
